Nissan Altima 2010

Nissan Altima 2010

The 2010 Nissan Altima comes with a re-designed hood, grille and front bumper and new wheel designs. The interior of the 2010 Nissan Altima has also been revised and now the car comes with Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) as standard. Available in three distinct models – Altima Sedan, Altima Coupe and Altima Hybrid – the 2010 Nissan Altima will be available at Nissan dealers nationwide beginning Thursday, October 1st.

The 2010 Nissan Altima is available in a variety of well-equipped trim levels designed to appeal to a broad range of buyer needs and budgets, including 175-horsepower 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder and 270-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 engine-equipped 4-door Nissan Altima Sedan and sporty 2-door Nissan Altima Coupe versions.

The Nissan Altima Hybrid powertrain mates a specialized version of Nissan’s QR25 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine and standard electronically controlled CVT with an advanced electric drive motor/generator. Nissan Altima Hybrid is estimated to have a hybrid system net power rating of 198 horsepower (148 kW) while maintaining low tailpipe emissions, earning Nissan Altima Hybrid an Advanced Technology Partial Zero Emissions Vehicle (AT-PZEV) rating. EPA fuel economy is estimated at 35 mpg City and 33 mpg Highway. Combined with Nissan Altima’s standard 20-gallon fuel tank, the Nissan Altima Hybrid has a projected driving range of over 600 miles between fill-ups.

The 2010 Nissan Altima price starts at 19,900 USD for the Altima Sedan 2.5 S 2.5L I4 CVT and goes as high as 29,600 USD for the Altima Coupe 3.5 SR 3.5 V6 6MT.

Nissan Vplatform A-platform original named cut cost

2010-nissan-march-micra-k13-1
Nissan has revealed the first details of its new global small car project at a briefing at its new global headquarters in Yokohama, Japan.

The new ‘V-platform’ project has been designed primarily to make financial sense in emerging markets, while being sophisticated enough for Western Europe.

The new supermini will sit on all-new V platform – the V standing for versatile – which is lighter and roomier than before. It will spawn a saloon model (destined for emerging markets such as India and China) and an MPV too, replacing the popular Note in late 2011.

The V-platform will underpin cars up to 1600kg in weight and with a maximum torque output of 148lb ft. This means that the largest engine fitted to the family of small cars will be a 1.5-litre turbodiesel unit.

Engineered by Nissan in Japan, the V-platform project focuses on reductions in both weight and in the number of components that make up the future models.

NISSAN AVUS Performance Nissan GT-R 2009

NISSAN AVUS Performance Nissan GT-R 2009

As a direct successor of the Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 the bar has been laid high already. With only 480 examples for Europe the GT-R is one of those rare sports-cars. For AVUS PERFORMANCE a Nissan GT-R Black Edition was the basis for a very ambitious project. Besides optical changes they also put the emphasis on more power. A new modified ECU and a special new exhaust pipe (2 cats and the middle silencer have been removed) help the GT-R up to an impressive 580bhp and 700 Nm of torque (stock 485bhp and 588Nm).

Visually you can only imagine the power the GT-R has. The matt black, the lowering via coilovers (stock adjustments for the dampers will be kept) and the black painted 20″ wheels combined with wheel spacers sum up the package. Individually painted parts like the front bumper, the rear diffusor, air vents, tinted windows can be seen when taking a close look.
